tenshi//91 is an urban fashion brand based in New York City.
The direction for the design was to create a simple san-serif logo-type with two contrast colors of red and blue hues. The name “Tenshi” is the Japanese word for angel and the number 91 is for the year 1991 in which the founder was born.
The aesthetic of the brand is combining cyberpunk typography seen in anime such as Ghost in the Shell, Evangelion, Akira, Gantz, and among others and designing it with a minimalistic look.
